Summer Plans 2008
Greetings,
I wanted to drop in and say hi to everyone, let you know what has been going on and fill you in on some things to come.
I have been on the road a whole lot the past few months. The Amity Front has been playing the roll of weekend warriors for some time, touring behind the release of our newest album, “Border Towns”. I have been from Burlington, VT to Ashville, NC from Chicago, IL to Ann Arbor, MI…..a whole lot of miles were put on our van. Thankfully, we are taking the summer off and playing just regionally, which gives me some time to attend to my lengthy “to-do” list I have amassed. One of the items on my list, I am happy to say, is to move myself up to Leverett where I plan to live for many years to come.
I want to let you know some of my plans for the summer and fill you in on a few exciting (and logistical) announcements concerning guitar lessons.
First: E-MAIL & NEW WEBSITE
My original e-mail: levin@levinschwartz.com is back up. Also, I will have a new website up and running in the next few weeks. This is going to be a blog/reference site for guitar instruction. I will have a lot of my lesson material (current hand-outs and homework assignments) available in .pdf downloads, as well as a calendar that will automatically (and publicly) post my teaching schedule. I am very excited about this finally coming together; it has been a long time in the making.
Second, SUMMER TEACHING
I plan on being here for most of the summer. I will be teaching MON-THUR at the Fretted Instrument Workshop. As school lets out my hope is that I will be able to hold teaching hours earlier in the day starting at 10:00 A.M.
Third: INVITATION
